Thank you for your patience and support during this exceptionally challenging year for your family.

As you know Jennifer Morris, Assistant Deputy Minister recently provided an overview https://bit.ly/3rcEgCZ of what is to come for the Ontario Autism Program (OAP) in the New Year.

The overview confirms that our work is not done and we must continue to do everything we can to sustain and expand service capacity in the North.

The Northern Capacity Building Advisory Committees and Northern Collaborative partners are working hard to ensure the system is prepared to respond to the new elements of the OAP. The most recent update affirms the importance of this work to ensure that families have access to service, especially in rural and remote areas.

We will continue to request additional details, specifically when these critical services will begin, and provide you with more information as we receive it.

On behalf of the CCR Board of Directors and team, we extend our heartfelt thanks to our families, advocates, Advisory Committees and Northern Collaborative partners for your incredible efforts in 2020. We look forward to continuing our work with you in the New Year to ensure families in the North receive access to the quality services and talent they deserve.
