BCBA Consultation and Caregiver Coaching
About
During an initial consultation, caregivers will meet with the Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA) to discuss their goal(s), provide any relevant information about their child, and have the BCBA complete a brief observation of their child.
Caregiver coaching sessions will allow parents to work with the Ignite’s BCBA for up to 3 hours, over the course of four weeks. The goal of caregiver coaching is to support families in developing a goal for their child and to provide 1:1 support in person or via videoconference to meet that goal. Sessions will include a combination of direct caregiver coaching with the caregiver and child, and/or the opportunity for the caregiver to discuss challenges and debrief about recommended strategies.
