The objective of this training is to provide an introduction to the basic concepts of applied behaviour analysis. By the end of the training program, the goal is to have participants leave with a set of foundational skills they will require to teach new skills and understand problem behaviour.

Topics Include:

What is autism?
What is ABA?
How to create play opportunities to pair and elicit language and social engagement.
What is motivation and how do we know we have it?
How to set up for success when giving teaching a new skill.
What are the functions of behaviour?
The ABC’s of problem behaviour.
