Resilience Builder Program for Children

About

The Resilience Builder Program (Alvord, Zucker, & Grados, 2011) is designed to support children, aged 7 to 12 years, to bounce back from stress by developing resilience and protective factors, such as self-awareness, self-regulation, flexible thinking, and social competence. All materials will be provided.

Note: All applicants must undergo an intake interview to determine eligibility.

Who is Eligible

Designed to support children, aged 7 to 12 years.

Due to the content of this group, it is not intended for children with intellectual disabilities or significant learning problems. Eligibility to be determined at intake.

Duration

12 weekly, 1.5-hour in-person sessions (Total: 18 hours)
