This virtual support group is intended for caregivers of children or adolescents who have recently received a diagnosis of Autism Spectrum Disorder. Sessions will cover topics such as the nature of ASD and what it means for your child(dren) and family, prognosis and planning for the future, intervention options, attachment and relationship building with your child(dren), and the importance of caregiver self-care. Half of each session will be dedicated to Q & A to support families with issues specific to wherever they are in their journey. Resources will be emailed to participants.
